Today, graduation ceremonies are making headlines worldwide with major universities celebrating record-breaking achievements. At Purdue University, their online division, Purdue Global, is hosting a significant commencement event, marking the highest number of participants in the university's history. Nearly 1,500 students will attend in-person ceremonies, with 764 additional graduates joining virtually. The event will be held at the Elliott Hall of Music and features multiple ceremonies throughout the day, celebrating graduates from various disciplines, including law, health sciences, and business. Special activities include a "Last Lecture" tradition, a Nursing Honor Society Induction, and a Military Appreciation Dinner​

This designation emerged from the unique case of a woman from Guadeloupe who is the only known individual to possess this rare blood type.
